Insights

Much has taken place during the past quarter -- both at Toy BoxSM Development Company and in our economy.

At Toy BoxSM Development, prices for the twelve remaining Toy BoxSM Condos in Grimes, IA have been reduced by $10,000! These twelve Toy BoxesSM are available for individual or combined purchase or lease with prices ranging in the mid to upper $70s for each unit, or rents of around $1,000 per month. Ask about special pricing and terms customized for you. There are really great deals to be made!

Toy BoxSM Development also has acquired just over an acre of land adjacent to the Toy BoxSM Condo project on the north for development of our first Tool BoxSM project. See our Tool BoxSM Condo story later on in this newsletter. On our land to the north of the Toy BoxesSM , City of Grimes approvals have been received for the site plan for Tool BoxSM Condos , and construction is expected to begin before this newsletter goes to press.

Four Tool BoxSM Condos will be built in two separate buildings on the Grimes site. Each will be 3,600 square feet; 40 feet wide by 90 feet deep. These units will sell for under $300,000 and also feature 2,700 square feet of dedicated outside storage or additional parking space for each unit as well as dedicated parking and signage bays. Units may be combined for up to 7,200 square feet of contiguous space. Pre-construction buyers will enjoy a special discount.

See the rendering of the new Tool BoxesSM at the top of this letter and at www.toyboxcondos.com .

Our comment for this issue:

We will soon elect a new president, removing one significant source of uncertainty in our nation. Regardless of the winning candidate, after the first week of November the country will have a good idea of its course for the next four years.

The economic environment continues to be of concern for all.  “Ripple effect” will be the new buzzword as major financial entities experience liquidity problems tied to lax underwriting of credit over the past several years.

The good news is that our financial leaders have taken a careful approach to stabilizing those companies that could adversely affect our society’s economic well-being, and have also chosen to allow those companies that may fail due to their own greed to do so.

Underlying all the economic turmoil is a sound economic system with the capability to fully recover in a reasonable span of time.  Do not crawl under a rock.  This is the time to recognize good opportunities -- like owning or investing in Tool BoxesSM and Toy BoxesSM .
